Early Learning Is Important

small girl

Contrary to what some believe, early learning is vital to your child's overall development. It's important not to rush your child through such activities but rather develop a sense of what pace your child wants to learn at. Research and application as far back as the late 1800's show babies and young children crave learning and they love learning at a fast pace. With this in mind, never force your child to do the lessons and stop when they seem bored or distracted. Try again another time. Your positive attitude and expressions of love play a key role in presenting the lessons.

We've Got You Covered with Easy-to-Follow Instructions

Each of our games and lessons include complete easy-to-follow instructions on how to use them so you can be confident when you're ready to present. What's great about our materials is you'll be increasing your own brain power while you use them with your children!

Included are instructions for use, printable full color images of the essences in the kit as well as some fun games you can play with your child.

Some experts tell us inhalation is the most direct route between the outside world and our brains. Our right brains have the ability to trigger extremely fast memory recall and other accelerated brain functions. In many children, this potential goes untapped or underdeveloped because the pathways between their right and left brains haven't been properly stimulated to form strong connections. This kit helps build and strengthen these connections and is an excellent way to teach your child to recognize objects and their associated scents.

Preschool University Early Reading Products

Preschool University

Preschool University early reading products are based on Montessori teaching principles and accelerated education. The design, content and sequence of these lessons have been perfected by over 22 years of experience by experts in early reading as well as continual use in classroom settings. These are by far the most complete and properly designed series of reading lessons available. Your children will master reading at an earlier age and in a way that will ensure more complete comprehension of the written word.

The most important foundation your child needs when first learning how to read is knowing and understanding the sounds that letters make. We recommend starting your child with the Alphabet Card Set.

Why Other Early Reading Products Fall Short

Unfortunately, many other early reading products rely on teaching the names of letters with tools such as the alphabet song. With young children this actually interferes with the learning process. Knowing a letter name is of no use when first learning to read: letter names have nothing to do with how they sound in words. Children who first learned the names of letters can later become confused when trying to learn the sounds those letters make. Preschool University's program starts with teaching letter sounds.

Another pitfall of many other reading programs is the use of capitol letters. 95% of English literature is lowercase so it makes no sense to early readers to associate the sounds of letters with their uppercase symbols. Our lessons only use capitol letters where appropriate within the sentence structure.

There are other important guidelines for properly training young children how to read, all of which have been painstakingly followed in these early reading products. Be assured you are receiving the very best reading program available for teaching your children to read at an early age and better comprehend the written word.

Positive affirmations are one of the most important tools you can use with your children. Australian author and song writer Anne Infante wrote these catchy, addictive songs for children, which have been making a big impact on all who use them.

Mike Percival works with 'special' children and those with learning difficulties who did not fit into our education system. He began playing Anne's songs in his sessions, with spectacular results. Exposed to the positive self-talk filling her songs, children who had been written off as 'dumb' and 'difficult' began to exhibit extraordinary changes: They became positive, co-operative and excited by their new-found abilities and learning skills, which seemed to blossom.

Anne says, "I believe self-esteem is the most vital ingredient for the health and well-being of ourselves and our children. Children are under pressures today as never before. They need to know they are unique, special and beautiful beings with inner strengths and abilities to overcome all challenges."
